Day 29 - Name one thing in which you indulged as a treat to keep yourself motivated and writing that you wouldn’t otherwise have done.
 … Nothing.

Day 30 - Share a link to either your NaNo profile or a location on the internet where your story can be found.  If someone offered to beta read for you, would you be willing to do the same for them during the subsequent editing process?
 My Profile. My story isn’t available to the public yet however. I do post excerpts here though. It’s just… I don’t want to let the world read it before it’s finished/published. And I wouldn’t mind beta-ing for someone, I just know that you’d be better off with someone else. :/ I’m a flake.

I lost all my steam and still need to write another couple thousand words. OTL Tomorrow… I’m gonna no-life it. 

Day 27 - What’s your word count now?  Are you satisfied with your progress or panicked that you won’t have enough time to finish by November 30?
 It’s 31k….I’m not happy and I’m panicking only because I can’t make myself write. OTL But I’m working on it… Gotta get 7k done… Need to. DX

Day 28 - Name one thing you shafted all month in favor of participating in NaNo.
 … There’s a reason I’m behind. But I have been keeping away from drawing the most I can… . It’s not working out.

It’s a 19k sprint to the end of NaNoWriMo from here. And I’ve gotten to the end of my old draft.

THAT MEANS THINKING FROM NOW ON

No I’m kidding. But seriously.

Also….I’m closing in on some character deaths.

Day 26 - Was any research involved (historical or otherwise) in your NaNo prep?

Yeah, mainly for setting though. A lot of it isn’t totally accurate though. >_>

Day 21 - With about 10 days left to this arguably traumatic experience, what are your plans and goals for your novel, should you successfully complete it?
 I’m so far behind I need to sit and do a couple 10k days. I’m doubting I’ll finish but I won’t give up. It doesn’t help I hurt my shoulder and just typing hurts. OTL When it’s done, whenever that’ll be since it’ll probably be longer than 50k, I plan on self publishing.

Day 22 - If you’ve participated in or won NaNo before, what happened to your other novel efforts?  Still in the revision process/querying publishers/scrapped it immediately/etc.
 The first novel I never finished but I didn’t  get that far on it anyway. Last year, when I made it to 50k, I stopped working on it. I had part one printed and in a binder. I got through revising and editing the first chapter. And then I stopped. >_> It’s on hold…

Day 23 - Do animals play any part in your story?  If so, how do they add to it?
 Nope.

Day 24 - Is religion featured in your novel at all?  If so, which ones?  If it’s/they’re your own creations, describe it/them and how it/they play(s) a part in your characters’ lives.
Nope. I really avoid those sorts of things since I’m pretty biased. The closest I am is the fact a couple characters grew up Catholic.

Day 25 - What are the names of at least two of your main characters?  How did you choose their names?
 Let’s see… Gabriel was chosen because his first action was to save the main character’s life and I was listening to “Gabriel” by Lamb.
Rhea’s name was chosen because of the meaning.

“Latinized form of Greek ‘Ρεια (Rheia), meaning unknown, perhaps related to ‘ρεω (rheo) “to flow” or ερα (era) “ground”. In Greek mythology Rhea was a Titan, the wife of Cronus, and the mother of Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Hera, Demeter and Hestia. Also, in Roman mythology a woman named Rhea Silvia was the mother of Romulus and Remus, the legendary founders of Rome.” 

Mainly because she’s gonna be a bit of a badass. Her name used to be Rua, but it reminded me of “Rue” and I didn’t like the similarity. Shut up. >_>

Day 19 - Which authors or books have inspired your own writing the most, and why?
 I can’t really say since I get more inspiration from movies and music than books. I Am Legend was a big one at the beginning, mostly just for the Infected themselves. And then it got darker…

Day 20 - If you could meet one fictional character from any book you’ve ever read, who would it be, and why?
 Uh…wow. I have no idea. Maybe Sabriel from the Abhorsen series. That’s my favorite book/series and she’s kind of a badass.
